“Flower of the Abyss” is the gloomy yet svelte name of Irene Luft’s newest collection. It deals with the  human’s fear of the unknown as well as their constant hope and believe in beauty, even at the darkest moments. With this fall and winter collection she acknowledges strong personalities that pursue a positive attitude in any situation.

Therefor, the native Russian uses the power of gloomy black and the shine of gold, and unifies them in harmonious, feminine shapes. This delicate avant garde design includes finest fabrics and sculpture-like cuts.   During the show, the models wear masks that partly cover their faces as symbols for the fear of the unknown.

All in all, the style appears very delicate, but also mysterious and playful. All models show the wearer’s sensual side and reveal some parts of the skin with deep necklines and transparent fabrics. Irene Luft bravely and almost provocatively plays with the feminine art of seduction, and designs garments that reveal the breasts, backs or legs.

This delicate yet strong and extroverted looking line consists of only sophisticated dresses. Transparence, lace, ruffles and tulle are the main elements of the exceptional design à la femme fatale. We’re surely not the only one that have fallen in love with this high-quality and unusual collection. The label’s triumph at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in July was now surprise.
