In the music video of her song called ‘G.U.Y.’ Lady Gaga is wearing a unique eye makeup, that inspired the look I have for you today. The artificial way the eyeliner has been applied on Lady Gaga is crazy but yet interesting at the same time. Because this makeup is not very wearable, I tried to create it in a more wearable day, so that it can we worn as a night out makeup.
1. The first important step is, as always, to prime your lid with an eyeshadow base (NYX Jumbo pencil in ‘milk’).
2. For the eyeliner I used the maybelline gel eyeliner in ‘black’ and applied it with a thin eyeliner brush (‘E05’ by Sigma). The first step to do the eyeliner is to draw a sharp vertical line in the center of the eyelid. The line should start as close to the lash line as possible and should end where your crease begins.
3. The next step is to do the wing by following your lower lashline. Connect the wing with the line you created in the first step and fill in the empty space between them.
4. To add a arabic touch to the eye look, I decided to do a thin eyeliner in the first part of the eyelid we left blank. I also extended the line towards my inner corner and drew a little triangle there (picture).
5. To smoke out the lower lash line I applied a black kajal on my waterline and blended it out with a black eyeshadow.
6. To complete the look I applied a light grey eyeshadow next to the black eyeliner and blended it out in to my crease. With a couple coats of mascara on your top lashes you’re done.
