Bangkok is incomparable: unclear, big, winding, dangerous and … fish-friendly.

A scrapped old mall in the middle of Bangkok has become the home of hundreds of koi fish. When the mall was left to its own resources after a fire, the extinguishing water, which had not been vacuumed off, couldn’t get absorbed by the ground. Little by little, it soaked into the lower floors until the mall has become some kind of a lake. It also attracted mosquitoes, which could propagate magnificently. Due to this, koi fish and carps have been bred here by the residents so that they can feast on the bloodworms. As a result, the mall became an ideal fishpond, and the residents still feed them regularly.

As if an ordinary, empty mall couldn’t be attractive for an urban explorer, but … a LAKE is even better!
