“Shooter – I feel ya tramping!”

I think it’s time, my friends, that the first real step into the Virtual Reality is made! While Sony and Facebook are concentrating on their VR-Glasses, other developers are already way beyond that. KOR-FX, a development company from Cambridge, USA, has created a very interesting advancement of the gamers’ experience. And it’s certainly another project that will have its debut at the funding platform kickstarter.com.

Imagine you’re in the middle of a mission in Call of Duty and you’re hiding behind your favorite corner and you feel pretty safe. Obviously, nobody is in sight. But suddenly you actually FEEL how an enemy tank is approaching from your far right. Isn’t it creepy? That is soon going to be real with the KOR-FX Gaming Vest.

In combination with a pair of VR-glasses and headphones, this mini vest might provide you the best that can be currently achieved in regards of game advancements. The testers at the E3 Convention in California were already fully convinced and reported with eager in their eyes of the recoil they felt from their own weapon and of the hits on their bodies.

You can let the vest run in different modes which should be to everyone’s satisfaction. Do you want a more intense feeling of the hits or should your surroundings have a few light effects added? This all is supposed to function with the sounds, wireless of course. You’ll only need 4 AA batteries which should last for 30 to 40 hours of gaming. The system runs independent of the platform and therefore the 3.5 mm standard headphones are all you need.

So put your vest on and into the war! But this time, get serious, you noobs!
