The label Y-3 is known for its innovative silhouettes. Silhouettes that gave their sneakers an unmistakably unique nickname: Ninja-Gothic-shoes. I recently found the latest sneaker Y-3 Qasa on Hypebeast.com and they also have the trademark silhouette famous for the label. What immediately comes to the eye is the unique and dynamic design of the shoes. On a second glance you can see that the sole of our new mid top sneakers are unusually rounded, ergonomically and incredibly flexible. Additionally the fitting of these Qasa’s and the lacing were changed, which gives the shoe an unique appearance. The odd thing though, you don’t lace the shoes up and they don’t close through Velcro strips – you simply slip in and you’re done. The Qasa are completely dipped in black (fitting name “Ninja-Gothic”, huh?) only the sole, a small part of the laces and the branding on the sole are white.
