The young Croatian designer always succeeds in surprising the hungry crowd with his vast repertoire of crafty designs and creative ideas that should always be regarded with a subtle ironic and humorous wink. Especially Toni’s funny fashion shows are always the talk of the town, which is exactly why you shouldn’t miss his show at the Dreft Fashion Week Zagreb.
Although he only graduated a year ago his first collection from 1999 already brought him international stardom. Back then he presented a shoe collection that definitely stood out. Nowadays he specialises in cheeky menswear.
He usually mixes provocative sportiness with elegance and casual charm. Workout gear usually consist of striped shorts and casual tank tops, whilst standing next to beige chinos combined with an elegant vest. Whatever you prefer, shirts, blazers, sweatpants or simple t-shirts, Toni Rico has them all.
Trendy prints like batik, plaid, polka dots or sassy sayings are part of his signature look. He loves to combine Extravaganza with nautical motives and even pulls off silver boxer shorts. Toni Rico is simply ingenious.
