Mickey Mouse comics are the very models of political correctness and appropriate education for children between the ages of 6 and 12. But that wasn’t always the case.
For example, back in the 50s, Mickey and Goofy once took amphetamines and became drug dealers! They were forced by their employers to sell the drugs in Africa. The African aboriginies are depicted in a very racist way, and are under the influence of an evil medicine man that provides them with hash.
The medicine man worries about his monopoly on the African market and tries to prevent the two protagonists from selling the amphetamines to them. Of course, Mickey bests the medicine man at his own game, and ends up as the village’s drug supplier. Not only is this an advertisement for amphetamines, it also indirectly propagates racial superiority! Ah, the 50s… What a time!
