Tildart is a label which places value on ecological issues. That’s why the brand started participating in the Eco Fashion Week in Vancouver last year. The label founded by Matilda Janosi however has been on the fashion market for a while already. Matilda Janosi is a Hungarian designer who is following the motto:” I love it when fabrics and materials tell a story!” For this reason, a creation made of ordinary fabric often appears too boring for her taste. Instead she makes use of materials which she can find in the bicycle business or at moving companies which indeed is very unusual.
Her designs are something special as well considering the outstanding choice of materials. Many straps and bands hang from the immaculate bodies of the models and bestow something dynamic upon the designs. Huge hats grace the heads of the mannequins and almost give them an Asian-looking touch. Black. Everything is colored in black. Posing confidently, the models sometimes remind you of the tough Lara Croft. One design is even made for men. Here, only the most important parts of the body are covered. In order to keep an elegant aspect, a tie is worn.
Tildart indeed is a special label. The designs are extraordinary and represent a fusion of couture and a completely distinct and new form of art maybe. The name doesn’t include the term “art” for no reason.
