The Villa Rodizio, which offers Mexican and Argentinean cuisine, is situated at the Milastraße i near the subway station Schönhauser Allee. The restaurant is located in an old art nouveau mansion. The building looks extremely impressive and strikes out with round arches, wood paneling, stuccos and decorated ceiling vaults.

The menu offers a wide range of drinks and several dishes. Villa Rodizio is known for their giant skewers, which are served at your table.

The all-you-can-eat menu includes nine different and very delicious types of meat from chorizo wrapped in bacon to honey chili chicken. AT the end, you get a dessert, for example baked banana and pineapple flambé. There’s also a buffet with different salads like Caesar salad, meat or bean salad, olives, bread, warm and cold dishes. You can “only” choose between the buffet for €12.90 and the buffet with meat for €24.90. The second one is perfect for those who are extremely hungry or for those who simply love meat! Anyways, I’ve never seen anyone who managed all three courses.

The Rodizio is also a good place for big groups (reservation!). It’s best to save the tables at the entrance, because one negative aspect is the acoustics. The sound in the main room really reminds of a train shed where the staff is rushing forth and back.

The staff is professional and very spry, but will keep the personal distance towards the customer. In summer, you can sit at the terrace. All in all, we had a nice evening with much yummy meat.
