Recently in wild Wedding – A tribute to a very special place
My Ufer Cafe… Hey guys, today I’m going to show you a wonderful place in wild Wedding – the Ufer Cafe. It’s situated at the Nordufer and it’s kinda hidden, but this is the special thing about it. I love being there in the evenings. I sometimes go there to drink a beer and smoke a cigarette after work. Yes, smoking is allowed at Falki’s. Only Sunday is non-smokers day. The cafe looks rustic; it’s a mix of trash and nostalgia with old, new musicians and framed movie pictures.
You can sit at a table with your darling or just go to the bar. It doesn’t take long and you will soon meet other people you can chat with. The conversations are about Wagner’s Nibelung Legend or about Angela Merkel and her child born out of wedlock and whether it’s Helmut Kohl’s child.
You don’t like the music? Just tell it to the staff at the bar and you will be provided the jukebox for free. There, you can find well-known songs from Schlager music to rock. Music plays an important role at the Ufer Cafe. Many bands perform regularly at this place just like last Saturday when the band Richard Lee performed. The drenched voice of the singer reminds of the good old times. Music genre? The description says: blues folk pop band. The band has two amazing guitarists.
If you want to know about the bands and days on which they’re performing at the cafe, you can ask the staff at the bar. Recently, they also offer karaoke evenings. People sing if they can sing, but also if they can’t. However, it is still keeping within limits. “Come as you are”. That’s what I love about my Ufer Cafe. Everyone is welcomed!
