The womenswear label Caro Cora which is named after the eponymous designer, Carolin Cora Kohler, was founded in Madrid in 2008. The special feature of her fashion is that every collection has its own conceptional idea which is reflected in the creations. The designs and patterns are based on mathematic asymmetries and balanced irregularities. The recent fall/winter collection 2013/14  is named “Midnight Garden”. This title is also mirrored in the patterns and colors. Beside the extensive flower prints, also the dark colors are dominating and reflect the elegance of the night.

In her collection she creates a look where short skirts and ankle-length pants are combined with patterned blouses. I really like the dominating flower print in the colors red, black and green. The floral pattern has an exceptionally elegant charisma and sensuality. My favorite look of the fall/winter collection is the one which consists of a mini-skirt and a bikerjacket which is embellished with flowers. The break of the style creates an elegant and almost bold character at the same time.
