The first festival of the online clothing store Impericon took place in 2011 in the Werk 2 in Leipzig. This year Impericon will again invite us this spring to be entertained by lovely hardcore bands. Because of its rising popularity the festival moved to the AGRA in Markkleeberg.
This year the line-up contains inter alia following bands:
- Hatebreed (a classic in the metal scene),
- Asking Alexandria (for me they’re a leftover of the emo times, but their new album is supposed to be pretty brutal)
- Deez Nuts (a classic of the oldschool/partycore scene),
- Stick To Your Guns (My favorite band, and only this makes the festival so worth going to. It’s a hardcore-punk from California),
- Maroon (metalcore newcomers from Berga, straight-edge band),
- Betraying The Martyrs (a really good deathcore band from Paris),
- Northlane (rousing hardcore punk from Sydney),
- Rise of the Northstar (Unfortunately I don’t know this band yet but I’m really pumped to see them.),
- Bury Tomorrow (a classic of the scene, melodic metalcore from England),
- Science of Sleep (deathcore from the good old Braunschweig)
and many more.
The so far awesome line-up promises entertainment and music at its finest. So whoever got curious can get more information on the Impericon-store’s website.
