Some people might question whether Olga Plenkina‘s creations are fashion, and I can assure you that they are! Within this collection Olga Plenkina presents a dream out of this world for men and women. These designs remind me of the films “Sphere”, “Abyss” and many other films which take place in space.
Black, red, white, grey and orange are predominant in this collection. Due to the very special cuts these colors seem even more strong and impressive. Olga Plenkina omits any kind of pattern, because that would look obsolete and bring in some inbalance.
The cuts have organic forms and particularly determine the tops, trousers and skirts. I really liked the white outfit for women, composed of a white, moon-shaped skirt and a fitting mask. What also inspires me here is the red body combined with a completely covering face mask and utricular applications placed around the throat. I could imagine space suits like this!
The men’s collection is also a demanding one with special cuts and a fashionable intention. A red sweater sticks out in particular. Its sleeves segue fluently into the mask on the model’s head, and in my eyes this results in a great overall picture, thus it’s my favorite of this extraordinary collection!
