Krikor Jabotian creates collections which are characterized by an unprecedented harmony just like his latest fall and winter collection for 2013 and 2014.
At the young age of 23, he founded his eponymous label Krikor Jabotian in Beirut, presenting fashion full of details to women and girls.
The designs for women are a mixture of filigree and voluminous elements. These two aspects however do not contradict each other, instead they complete each other. The short dress is embellished with delicate flowers which are lavishly embroidered on one side, while the other side of the dress is decorated by voluminous valance layers covering the shoulders, the hips and the back like helix. On the back the Volant creates a train which is even floor-length. It really looks like as if a snake made of valances is entangling a delicate princess.
But the little child mannequin looks even more like a princess. Her dress is made of layers of fabrics in which the mannequin almost seems lost – lost in a coating of smoothness and softness. While the dress is tight around the torso and covered with roses, the skirt part consists of layers of fabric. The dress is completely colored in bright lavender. Roses adorning the hair make the wonderful flower girl outfit perfect.
No matter whether woman or girl, the creations by Krikor Jabotian really leave you breathless, they lead you into an almost unreal wonderland.
