The World Beard and Moustache Championships – an event like no other, in which men prove their extraordinary masculinity. It is a competition for the most extreme beards: Whether full beard or mustache, here you can marvel at the craziest ‘hairstyles’ you can imagine.
The last edition took place on November 7, 2015, in Brooklyn, New York. It was presented by Hanes X-Temp in the spectacular King’s Theatre. The champonships are characterized by different categories of beards, in which the jury selects the winners. The categories are divided into moustaches, full beards and partial beards. In each category there are also diefferent names for the single styles.
Germany has always been far ahead in the history of World Beard Championships. The 1st Berlin Beard Club organized the World Beard and Moustache Championships in 2005 and has won numerous awards.
The next World Beard and Moustache Championships will probably take place in 2017. We are looking forward to this crazy event.
