Hey mate,

A few days ago, I arrived in Sydney in order to do a placement. After the first work days have passed, I began exploring the city. Sydney offers various facets. On the one hand, Sydney represents the typical metropolis with skyscrapers and numerous streets. On the other hand, this beautiful city is filled with hotspots for nature lovers. Indeed, Sydney is known for the seaside and its wonderful beaches. On a sunny day, my housemate and I took the bus to Watsons Bay right in front of our house. It took us about 40 minutes during which we have passed many beach shops, Bondi Beach and numerous expensive houses.

When we arrived at our destination, we climbed up the hills, passing some houses and, by European standards, exotic plants. The cliff above the rock bay that we reached is called “The Gap” and offers you a super-nice view of the Pacific. When you walk on you can get a very good view of Sydney’s skyline and the Harbour Bridge. Here, you normally meet a lot of tourists, who, like me and my friend, would take selfies and panorama pictures from all angles. 😉

Watsons Bay showed us an amazing side of nature around Sydney. What used to be a fishermen’s village (which is by the way also Sydney’s oldest one), is now a popular destination for fans of beaches and seafood. When I came here, I could smell nature downright!

Follow me on my next trip. Hope to see you soon!

 Yours,

H.Trang
