Hey mate,

Today, I went to Sydney’s CBD where I visited the Sydney Tower Eye, also called Sydney Tower. It offers a great view on the entire city, its surroundings and harbor. Before getting in, you have to buy a ticket online (regular price: AU$18.55/€19.70) or just go to the ticket desk and buy them for a few more bucks. If you can, you should also visit the Australian Groupon website, because sometimes they offer reduced tickets. I only paid 10 bucks (€7.00)!

Then, I had to go through a shopping arcade and use the elevator to reach the tower. Before I got to the observation platform, I watched a short 4D movie, Australia’s first one by the way! Beautiful pictures of Sydney and its surroundings were presented. Since this movie was in 4D, I could feel a nice refreshing breeze and water splashing on me.

After that, we went upstairs until we finally saw Sydney from all angles. This 309m high observation tower allowed me to have a view on almost everything, from the popular Hyde Park to the Darling Harbour and the city center. If you need a rest, you can get some snacks or check out the Tower Shop with its souvenirs. And if you like to have an even better view, you can buy the Skywalk Ticket for approximately 50 bucks (€35.00 regular price). With this ticket, you are allowed to walk to the very top of the tower where you reach its open air platform, the highest point in Sydney!
