It is widely known that cats can be loners, especially in the cases of lynx, who can go their ways for years and years without even crossing paths with one of their conspecifics and they don’t seem hugely bothered by it. The following tale however, shows a completely different and kind of corny side to the whole thing. In a St. Petersburg zoo a beautiful friendship began when an alley cat spotted a slightly bigger cat trapped behind thick glass. She found her way into the cage and became the official snuggle mate of the lynx inhabiting the zoo. They’re now enjoying the sun together and cuddling until the sun sets. What a cat-life…

In a zoo in Jakarta an even more unusual friendship has blossomed between a green tree frog and a tree python. Pythons are known for feeding on frogs but those two clearly enjoy their company more than a quick lunch. So you are now able to see the little guy, the frog that is, hopping around the snake as if he has been doing so his whole life. Friendship does not have limits.
