stitch 2

Step 1: Smudge some grey and black eyeshadow all around your eyes to achieve a worn off and creepy looking effect. Also drag the grey eyeshadow below your eyes to create some under eye circles.

Step 2: Now it’s time to create the stitched wound. Take a red lip pencil (‘Nightmoth’ by MAC) and use it to draw on little strokes. Try to keep the space in between the stitches as similar to each other as possible.

Step 3: Now we want to achieve a more 3D looking effect, which is why we have to contour and highlight. Take a light brown eyeshadow (‘Wede’ by MAC) and create some shadows by drawing on thin lines around the red lip pencil. Then take a nude kajal pencil or a light eyeshadow (‘Vanilla’ by MAC) and apply it in between the red and the light brown. That way the wound will look a lot more realistic.

Step 4: Create the stitches using a black eyeliner. Draw on either crosses or single lines in between the stitches for a realistic look.

Step 5: To perfect everything take a red lipgloss or some fake blood from your halloween store and apply it on top of the red lipliner for a blood-like looking shine. Lastly coat your lashes with a little bit of black mascara and you’re ready to go!
