From May 24th to May 31st, 2014, everything will revolve around style, glamour and fashion in Malta because the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Malta is finally back and invites fashion victims all around the world to take part in this fashion spectacle which will last for seven days. After many successes in the past years, fashion experts worldwide are extremely looking forward to this event.

It was Adrian J. Mizzi who stumbled across the idea establishing a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Malta, which was actually not that surprising. He has also been organizing the Malta Fashion Awards for a decade already. This year, the fashion shows will take place in different historically and culturally relevant places in the capital city Valetta.

In total, 28 local as well as international designers and labels presented their fashion and latest collections for the next season on the runways in Malta. Twelve of the designers are even newcomers, who received the amazing opportunity to show their talent to an international audience.

The label Charles & Ron will be one of the brands present on the runways of the MBFWM. The designer duo often is inspired by old Hollywood glamour and, above all, by the Mediterranean environment. This is exactly why the Maltese culture plays an important role in their design ethics. Their collections are designed for modern customers who don’t only love fashion but who also passionately enjoy life.

Another label which will introduce their new collections on the runways of MBFWM to you bears the name Gagliardi. The designer creates men’s fashion which is marked by the unprecedented Mediterranean flair and the preference for luscious colors. The collections unite the attributes of modern fashion: the colors of the current season, trendy cuts and versatile textures paired with old-fashioned traditional values like quality and craftsmanship. The inspiration for the designs is based on the laid-back style and the elegance of the men, who roamed the city of Rome, Florence, Milan and Valetta in the 1950ies.

Who doesn’t want to miss the implementation of the latest trends for the coming season, should definitely pay Malta a visit on May 24th. And it gets better: Most events of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week are for free. But don’t forget to book the tickets early, as the tickets for the most popular ones are already sold out.
