The traditional Indian Holi Festival is not only the celebration with the most colors, it is also the most ancient festival in the world. It was originally invented to celebrate the beginning of spring, where people throw color bombs made out of colored corn flower at each other.

Inspired by the old tradition the festival is now celebrated in different parts of the world, even here in Europe. It however, was slightly modified on the way out here. Known Dj’s are now invited to cater to people’s musical needs, turning the event into a colourful electro festival that, for instance, takes place every other Saturday in the Imtech Arena in Hamburg.

This week’s lineup is – as per usual – very promising including highlights like Aka Aka feat. “Thalstroem and Schluck den Druck”.  The entire lineup can be found here:
