Hello fellow beauty lovers.
She has a body to die for, huge dolly eyes, a cute nose, pouty lips and longer legs than yours and mine combined. She does sound like the perfect woman, right? Well, in a way she is. She was introduced to us when we were still little. The Barbie doll that came in a box on our birthday, she was the epitome of perfection. What if I’d tell you that she is real? How would you imagine her to look like?
Kids, let me introduce you to Valeria Lukyanova. She’s 28 years old and she looks just like our childhood friend, Barbie. The only difference: I can’t recall ever being scared of my doll, can you? The outer appearance of Valeria splits society. While some say that she may be the most beautiful woman on earth, other condemn her as a “Fake”. Valeria, however, cannot stress the fact enough that she has never been to a surgeon. Her appearance was achieved through her discipline alone. In February this year she announced that she would only survive on air and light- a practic, referred to as “breatharianism”. Furthermore, she states that she undergoes a stric workout and beauty regimen.
No surgeries? Well, if you ask me, her waistline looks suspiciously small, whilst her face looks so delicate one might fear to break her. But that may be the jealousy speaking. 😉
Even so, I can hardly imagine the amount of pressure one is under when having to look like a perfect Barbie doll all day long.
Okay, before you guys start wondering and maybe complaining what the hell is wrong with today’s society, I should mention two little facts just to inspire you: If Barbie was standing before you life-sized, she would be more than 2m tall and she wouldn’t be able to bear children because her waist is just too slim. Is this real beauty?
