What do you get if you combine the cinematic elements from “Kill Bill”, “Drive” and “Old Boy” and give them the a graphical retro look reminding you of the early 90ies and turn this crazy mix into a game? Well, insiders know the answer. It’s Hotline Miami! This is a game we all probably loved, didn’t we? As a character who slowly is becoming insane and more and more cold-blooded, you are roaming Miami, committing contract murders. Of course, you can live out your creativity in the act of killing, being able to use many different materials for your jobs.
Now, another Hotline Miami part 2 has been released, which is going to revolutionize everything you have seen in terms of gaming. There isn’t much information on the story. It’s not even sure whether it’s going to be a prequel or a sequel. However, some things are for sure. The graphics and the music are going to stay damn old-school. Additionally the brutality which sometimes causes a shiver to run down your back of course is maintained as well. This time, two players instead of just one will be able to enjoy the game at the same time.
This game is going to hit the stores in fall this year. Well, I will take a seat in my DeLorean now, cruise through the city, put on a mask and knock on some doors to kill … some time… Can’t wait any longer!
