Do you remember “The Last Of Us”? The plot is pretty harsh. Thus there is no point in telling me it didn’t touch you. A short summery is prepared here for those who missed it:
A parasitic fungus turns the majority of human beings into zombies. The rest of them has to fight for their survival every day, including Joel, a smuggler who receives the order to bring little Elli in a secure zone.
“Left Behind” is the extended version that deals with insufficiently treated passages and focuses on Elli.
In opposition to the main game, you can play solely with Elli here. You focus on her past and experience the most important day of her life that she spends with her best friend.
Elli has to rescue Joel who gets already hurt in the main story, actually just like in the main game yet this version shows the happening in greater detail. Another important point is the fact that you play a few weeks before the main plot starts, so you experience a kind of flashback.
It all begins with a wonderful excursion to an abandoned mall because this should be Elli’s most rewarding day. You survey the site and, believe me, it’s created with a great love of detail, but this idyll won’t last and your little gamer heart gets broken..
