Alexander Tasou, the designer of Hi Tek Designs started what he calls his „little project“ from as early as the 80’s. He involves an industrial design and surrealism into his creations. Each one of his items,1 from sunglasses, hats, masks, belts, watches and jewelry are never “in” or “out”. They’re simply timeless as well as unisex.
His watches and jewelry are incredibly expressive and bold. They always look avant-gardist. He loves thinking outside of the box, using unusual materials for the creation of his treasures. For instance, he used hand cuffs as a frame for his sunglasses or pyramids as watch cases.
It doesn’t look at all like that but the object around the arm of the woman is actually a watch. The material appears to be thrown together without any reason but believe me when I say that everything is in its place for a reason.
The next object is a “Bracelet Wrist Gear”, 3-D jewelry so to speak. It was made out of steel and silver. This bad boy is edgy and a statement, which makes it perfect for the catwalk.
Last but not least, we’re looking at a gorgeous necklace. Its band is made out of leather and it’s sporting a fabulous, big silver cross. The cross is covered by numerous gemstones and seems to shine so bright that it can blind you. I love it!
