David Salomon is a Mexican designer of Lebanese origin who specialized in creating feminine robes, designed for the grand entrance. He will also take part in the first day, on April 1st, of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week México. Therefore, he belongs to a group of talented designers who doesn’t stand second to Europe’s elite high-fashion artists, proving that Mexico has much more to offer than the colorful Día de los Muertos.

Actually, David Salomon has been considerably avoiding colors in his past collections. Particularly the summer collection for last year was kept in crème, white, silver and gold metallic colors with glittering elements here and there. The classic charm of a reinterpreted Audrey Hepburn seems to be the muse of this collection regarding the boater neckline and the circle skirts.

Just last winter, he acquired great success with the color black with which he expanded his former summer collection in regards of style. That’s where David Salomon leaves the path of classic elegance and adds some contrasting exceptions, such as floral applications. However, he will always stay loyal to his preference of round necklines and boater necklines.
