Sheer fabrics and lace are never-ending trends. There are two different approaches on how these trends can be styled. The first one is the super cute look. This one appears very girly and is accompanied by floral embroidery, crochet and playful applications. The wearer is being embellished all over, looking all dainty. Valentino is the best example for this. In his new Spring Collection 2014, he presents his models like cute little girls who, with their high-cut necklines and floor-length robes, look like they have grown up too fast.
The other side of the sheer and lacy look shows the complete opposite. This time, Burberry gives us a nice insight on that. The collection seems rather gloomy and distant due to its cold color arrangement. The black lace and the leather with intriguing cut-outs bring something wicked and a big portion of style into the Spring Collection 2014.
