the latest trend coming up this spring are pastel colors, especially mint green, pastel blue and coral red. Patrizia Pepe, Elie Saab (image above), Burberry, Valentino und many more designers added these wonderful colors to their spring collections and really know how to perfectly present them! Elie Saab’s Haute Couture spring collection almost consists of pastel colors only, thus presenting this trend at its highest and most ample level. Valentino also knows exactly what to do, because coral red, mint green and even more pastel colored garments can be discovered in his collection. However, it differs from Elie Saab. For his spring collection, Valentino decided to add much more playfulness and to let his garments look more girly. And to cap it all off, Burberry has also joined the pastel color bandwagon, but Burberry has their very unique way with these clothes: Their clothes are often transparent and are also featuring lace.
I think the pastel colors are really flattering for women who love traditional and elegant outfits. Hence, these colors are expressing just a whiff of youth while maintaining a mature style. I don’t really know about you, but I’m gonna go shopping like crazy soon!
