Lars Paschke graduated from the Fashion Academy in Antwerp, where his collections have always impressed the viewers. He especially impressed with his wide sense for color combinations. He is fascinated by the relationship between the individual and the society and the clothes as an arbiter and communicator in between.
His collection is named “Cynthia” and deals with the significance of esoteric products even though they are cheap mass-produced goods. Lars Paschke imagines a living room which is decorated with pendula, mandala images for the windows, vases with colorful sand and a lava lamps while calming music for mediation is playing in the background.
In his designs he captures the colorful and distinctive aspect of the esoteric fashion as well as the cheap production and hence, the cheap synthetic fabrics. Nevertheless, his creations don’t look cheap at all. The color palette of the collection ranges from black and white over blue, yellow to pink – they are also combined or divided into stripes. In addition to this, the shapes of the triangles and stars are also integrated into many designs.
In his collection Lars Paschke shows many colors and many colorful experiments. His garments are casual and often pleated. The collection is very wearable if you can own up to colors.
