Joseph Turvey is based in London. There he also started his career after having graduated in fashion design in 2010. After that, he gained many experiences working for different designers until he decided to complete a master’s degree. He then did this in men’s clothing at the London College of Fashion in 2012. During his final presentations he was spotted by talent scouts who he could convince with his wearable clothing pieces and the impressing illustrations. Vauxhall Fashion Scout was the platform which sent him to the London Fashion Week.
Today, he works in his own eponymous label, and impresses with his hand-drawn illustrations, printings and knitwear elements. His collection offers constantly wearable and classy cuts. Joseph Turvey was already presented with his collection for spring and summer 2014 where he had played with crazy color combinations as well as floral prints and his fresh fashion.
For his fall/winter collection 2014/15 he leaves out the colors and focuses on black, white and grey as well as detailed prints, which sometimes are graphic designs, sometimes floral ones. This also results in special cuts. An example is a sports jacket which is divided into a black and a patterned black-white side. The whole collection has a very sporty character. Joseph Turvey namely mixes between casual, sporty and very chic and mostly exceptional elements!
