mousse

A thing I really missed because of being vegan is some delicious creamy chocolate pudding. But now I finally found a recipe which makes it possible for me to enjoy my beloved pudding again!

It’s great for making an awesome dessert or just for giving yourself a little treat.

Ingredients:

250g dark chocolate, at least 70% of cocoa (careful, not every dark chocolate is vegan!)
2Table spoons of agave nectar
A bit of salt
1 finger tip of bourbon vanilla
1Tea spoon of Agar-Agar (mentioned in ma article about replacement products)
2 hands full of ice cubes
1Tea spoon salt

You need a bowl for the mousse and a bigger one where you can put the mousse bowl in. You put the ice cubes in the bigger bowl and sprinkle the salt over it, afterwards you want to fill up the bowl until the smaller bowl inside the bigger bowl is 50% covered with water.
Crush the chocolate, put it in a pan and melt it together with the agave nectar, the salt, the vanilla and 200ml of water. Therefore you have to stir it up a lot to avoid lumps. As soon as the chocolate is melted you add the agar-agar and stir it up again.
Now you put the mixture in the smaller bowl that is standing in the ice water and beat it until stiff for two minutes with the help of a hand mixer. As soon as the mousse turns a little lighter it will be finished. Enjoy!
