My perfumes usually last for about one year until I have finished them. That means that once a year I grant myself a new, good smelling perfume, whose scent should accompany me every day. I often, or better to say until now, I always look for flacons with 20ml content. This lasts long enough and doesn’t make me getting annoyed or bored by the scent.
For the next 12 months I have, yeah…I know, TWO instead of the one companion. My family bought me my favourite perfume for my birthday, the Dior Addict Eau Délice with 50ml content. Well, let’s pray that it won’t bore me! I also grant myself the Eau Sensuelle from the same series, this time with 20ml.
Packaging
The flacon of the two perfumes is the same. The one with 20ml content, however, is a little more lathy and higher. The design is simple, at the same time elegant. The glas of the Eau Délice melts into a light coral tone whereas the one of the Eau Sensuelle is a soft lavender shade. The atomizing nozzle is very practical: you can close it with one click, in case you push on it accidently 😉
Fragrance
Eau Délice has a very fresh and fruity scent with a sweet-sour cranberry accord. Also, there is a flowery scent which, after a while, smells a little oriental. It’s not too overpowering, rather very lightweight, but still lasts long!
Eau Sensuelle impresses me with its voluptuosness. The fragrance is bloomy, fresh as well, but comes across a little more elegant and mude. It is also very light, romantic. Extracts from jasmin, rose and white musk give a light sweety, herb nuance. The Eau Sensuelle does also last quite for a long period.
Result
Both perfumes have captured me. Although both are more seen as spring and summer fragrances, I think they can also be worn throughout the year. Eau Sensuelle probably fits more the sensual winter time and the Eau Délice freshens up the summer. For those who pay attention to it: both perfumes are Eau de Toilettes, they are not Eau de Parfums!
