Give them some credit! Alongside their clubrestaurant and bar “NY” at Olivaerplatz, the ice-cream shop “Uhlala” is my favorite place for a spontaneous summer treat. There’s always something going on, and that’s for some good reasons.

–          All their ice-cream is home-made.

–          The service is polite and courteous.

–          The ice-cream tastes fabulous and is definitely worth the 1€ for a scoop and their sundaes never go over 4,80€.

–          They prepare the sundaes very quickly and also customize them to your wishes.

Meanwhile, I probably tried all the basic and special flavors already. Besides my preferred sherbets like mango, lemon and blueberry, the regular ice-cream is pure bliss. They really save your day on those scorching hot temperatures.

Hazel, walnut-fig, chocolate, vanilla and some other creative individuals like cheesecake-elderberries, mascarpone-pomegranate, seabuckthorn-buttermilk and semolina-pannacotta are there to your service.

Today was the first time I had a sundae, one with walnuts. You can choose 3 scoops of your desired flavors from their daily assortment and have them garnish it with a proper amount of whipped cream, caramel sauce and fresh walnuts.

I’m not going to tell you what they have in stock today; you’ll need to see for yourself at Uhlandstraße 168, 10719 Berlin.
