casper&pearl was founded in 2011 by the 18-year-old, autodidactic designer, Stacey Hendrickson, whose label is already known from introductions on fashion blogs and international publications.
This label is based in Adelaide, Australia. There, they create the drafts which are then turned into designs and later become the stories of young girls. They represent the girl from next door who is admired for her beauty by the neighbors. At the same time, she also doesn’t hold back to show her real self.
The current collection for spring and summer 2014 is titled “Behind the Blue Door”. It shows exactly that girl. She appears to be seductive but simultaneously innocent. Despite her beauty, she is also shown in her natural behavior, such as when eating, wearing a high-necked top with a wild, blue pattern and a white collar.
Real summer feelings are coming up especially at the short jumpsuit of white lace and a triangle cut-out on the chest. The white lace also makes a cameo in an ensemble of high-waisted shorts and bandeau top. Another design, which enhances the bold character of the label, is a bright, strapless dress which is adorned with lace along the neckline and has a very wide skirt. In this dress, the wearer will almost look like a fairy.
casper&pearl emphasizes the charm and mystic of the beautiful girl from next door. They show an image of a woman who still carries the innocence of a child. This label will even captivate you at the Fashion Weekend in Sydney.
