In the last few years, sporty fashion and athletic activities have served as inspiration for the collections of numerous fashion labels. Yet despite the dearth of uncharted territory in this regard, there’s always something that manages to break new ground.
An example would be the current H&M Studio collection. This winter, the Swedish fashion giant brings back old-school sportiness and influences from the 70s. The 70s is possibly this autumn’s greatest trend, and when paired with sporty elements, gives rise to a fresh and interesting new look.
Turtlenecks, jumpsuits and so on work especially well in the trendy ribbed look. Baseball caps made of leather give the ensemble a look that inevitably reminds me of vintage aviator fashion. Flared trousers and bishop sleeves bring a playful and feminine component into the entire sporty range. The designs look especially fitting with the line’s orange-red ensembles combined with brown accents. Time to greet the 70s!
