Saint James’ male line rather looks like a well-stocked wardrobe. But what, exactly, constitutes a well-stocked wardrobe? The answer: a wardrobe whose contents present a great number of possibilities for combinations, thus making it so much easier for somebody to piece together a good outfit.
With Saint James, this has been is achieved through the usage of a clear and mostly neutral colour scheme – black, grey and red. But colour alone is not enough. One could have a wardrobe of nothing but black, but that does not necessarily suffice. Or would you want to end up having to pair a tuxedo with jogging pants?
Thanks to the designers at Saint James, this is scarcely a problem here. The label stays true to its traditional French sailor look. Simply coloured jackets and pants, alongside shirts and pullovers, are presented in a striped Brenton style – this ensures a classical maritime look that’s neat and masculinely robust at the same time. Truly a perfect all-rounder!
