“Are you all alone?”

By: Daniel Espinosa
Starring: Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace

Moscow 1952, the secret policeman “Leo”, true to Stalin and his country, is fooled by his enemy “Vasili” and forced to denounce his wife. When he refuses, he only scarcely escaped the execution, but has to do military service as an ordinary soldier.

When he finds a child murderer out, his real problems start to begin. In the USSR, there’s not really an official crime called murder and much less if child murder. When he first discovers the body of a murdered child in Moscow, it was just an “accident”.

Now, he doesn’t believe that anymore and makes decisions he shouldn’t do, because working against the state can be very dangerous. “Responsible people” are found concerning the murders, but “Leo” realizes the relations and talks about a series… Those who don’t like to hear the truth start to target him … and “Vasili” is just waiting for his chance to eliminate Leo.

This sounds like a packing thriller and a good setting, huh? By the way, this movie is based on the eponymous book by “Tom Rob Smith”. Release: June 4th, 2015
