The dark wine color called ‘Marsala’ is the one and only trend color for 2015 and is currently presented by many different designers on the catwalk. Today I’m going to show you a lip combination of a dark shade from the ‘Marsala’ color-family and a light metallic gold, that creates this interesting ombre effect.
Step 1: First of all roughly outline your lip shape using a dark lipliner (‘Nightmoth’ by MAC) .
Step 2: Next make the shape of your lips more precise and fill in your entire lips afterwards using the same lip liner.
Step 3: Because we want to create a smooth transition between both colors, start off by dabbing a wine metallic eyeshadow on to the center of your lips. The perfect product to do so is the Makeup Geek eyeshadow in the color ‘Showtime’.
Step 4: Now it’s time for the actual highlight, which is a light metallic gold eyeshadow (‘Magic Act’ by Makeup Geek). Dab this one on to the center of your lips as well and blend it in with the wine color, to finish off your look.
