A few days ago, I visited China Town. Even though it is pretty small compared for example to the one in London, you can discover many things here. Since it was Friday evening, it was time for the weekly night market. Every Friday, you will find numerous different stands selling their products in China Town. Clothes, Accessories and of course FOOD! Most of them offer Chinese food and it’s pretty much exciting  what you can get here.

I went together with my friends and we instantly stopped at a Chinese stand which offered prawn balls! The workers who prepared the snacks worked extremely quickly and I was also very fascinated by how they served the food. After we received our plastic box with some balls, we moved on to the next stand. There, we bought Japanese pancake, which looked so cute! I decided for the custard ones, and guys, they were SO delicious! Soft, creamy inside and sweet! But of course, that was not all. Three people – three different dishes!

The next thing on the list was lamb and cumin. The stand that offered this was very busy and many people were waiting for their orders. At the end, you received a skewer with some meat pieces, which smelled amazingly. However, I have to admit that I wasn’t really used to this taste and I rather preferred the Japanese pancakes. Since three examples weren’t enough, we added some sweetened potato slices, which were also served on skewers.

I really enjoyed trying out so many different snacks I haven’t eaten before. For only a few bucks, you will get many delicious and interesting things, which you can share with your friends. What I also liked were the different accessory stands with their cute phone cases, jewelries or office goods.

At the end of the day, my stomach got pretty full, but I just couldn’t resist to get some yummy Cha, which I had really missed in Germany after so many Cha stores had to close during the last few years.
