Daniel Syriem is another couture designer who represents the Northeast India Academy of Performing Arts. For his lines, he specializes in organic and ethnic fabrics from the north of his home country. Clear structures and a pure, meaningful and western style which doesn’t require unnecessary decorations define this label.
Aside of the New Yorker Couture Woche, he also presented his creations at other different Fashion Weeks in entire India, and also received a great deal of praise and acknowledgement. Both fashion fans and also magazines are mad of his designs – probably also because of their uncomplicated wearability.
The natural and flowing materials are used in soft, muted, earthy colorings, including for example green shades, earthy colors and cream. The designs are based on small, sophisticated highlights, which accentuate casual shapes. Gowns, tops, wide dresses and skirts, however, are created thanks to plain wrapping techniques, draperies and ruffles.
