Founded in 2008, Company of Strangers is well-known for its rocking style all over the world. Architecture and also culture are the sources of inspiration for the thrilling fashion. The designers are proud of their high quality, which is all 100% made in New Zealand.
Jim Jarmusch’s movie “Only Lovers Left Alive” inspired the summer collection 2015 “She walks in Beauty”. Only black, white and grey shades are used and are extended with a Moroccan-inspired snake pattern in a plain violet. Also the cuts express timelessness and seem to be made for eternity.
Modern, classic and with a touch of romance of delicate lace – this is shown by the urban and trendy line, which also includes some rocking elements. Also the big range of materials takes us to a journey through velvet, plush, fringes and leather, which accentuate dresses and oversized shirts. Transparent elements spread a sensual, obscene, romantic and mysterious atmosphere, which gains even more individuality thanks to asymmetric cuts.
The universe of Company of Strangers inspires fashionistas in a versatile yet specific way. The label will also present its newest creations at the Fashion Week in Neuseeland on August 30.
