We have our Music Week in Berlin. Hamburg  doesn’t want to be left empty handed, thus they organized their own event: the Reeperbahn Festival taking place from September 17 – 20. While Berlin focused on music, Hamburg offers remarkably film, literature, art and workshops for a good measure.

Music is played inter alia by Antilopengang, ASA, Angel Olsen, Blonde Readhead, Cats on Trees, Egotronic, Joel Bel, Kill it Kid, Lay Low, Maxim, Truckfighters and The Subways… and many others. You see, there’s a massive range of varied music waiting for you!

As I said, there are also exhibitions opened and worth seeing films inviting curious onlookers to stimulate their retina. You can find a list containing everything about those who are involved in offering art and films here.

Locations you should make a note of are the following: Affenfaustgalerie. Gewerbe5, Indra, Kunst Kiosk, Moondoo, Ska-Bus, Terrance Hill and more. Here, you can be inspired by the overwiev of all Hot Spots too. http://www.reeperbahnfestival.com/locations/

A 4-day ticket is available for about 90 euros. In my opinion, that’s a fair price regarding the packed schedule! So, if you come from the north grant yourself this festival and spend a few nice days!
