First some bad news and then the good one. There are these unbelievably extraordinary chino pants by Issey Miyake, but only in Japan. Good news: they exist at least. They are inspired by the textures of forests, trees, barks and the annual rings which are developed on the inside of the trees. This is how these RING CHINOS have been developed for the fall/winter collection.
The special feature about the design is the age of Issey Miyake. It has been now existing for 43 years and this is why 43 rings can be counted on the pants.
The lightest chino version has the color of a poplar. The beige version includes the color of a mable tree and the darkest one looks similar to teakwood.
