peeling

Hello fellow beauty lovers.

Welcome back.

Did you get the news that we’re awaiting 30°Celsius on this upcoming Friday? It’s insane and the long awaited start into the summer. For us ladies this means two things: Step up our game in the gym and in the bathroom. Whilst the daily visits to the gym finally show results, I have something very special for you to perfect your skincare regimen.

I’ve brought you a recipe for a homemade body peeling. I mean really, why would we buy something in the store that we can easily whip up in mere minutes at home?

You’ll need:

peeling 2

Coconut Oil
(I actually bought mine in London but you can get coconut oil in organic food stores and even in REWE.)

1 whole lemon

¼ cup of sugar

peeling 3

Take two teaspoons full of coconut oil and mix it with the juice of a whole lemon. One little side note there: To make sure you’re getting all of the juice, take a fork and swirl it in your lemon clockwise whilst pressing the juice with your free hand. That’s how you’ll know you aren’t wasting any of the juice. Then add a quarter cup of sugar and start mixing the ingredients until you get a creamy texture out of it.

I personally love to use this mixture as a peeling before shaving my legs. This is your key to baby soft skin, ladies and gents. And to all of you, who like their self-tanners once in a while, this stuff will change your life. It will provide you with the best tanning skincare possible. Just apply before any session and you will be left with perfectly tanned skin without any stripes whatsoever.

Nonetheless, those who suffer from an incredibly sensitive skin should refrain from using this peeling. I’m particularly addressing those who are affected with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

See you next time!

Yours truly,

Lana
