Dear fellow beauty lovers.

Guess what, we made it to the weekend, ladies and gents and you know what that means: ChitChat Friday is ready to rumble and I am looking forward to show you some really crazy body modifications from our time. It’s no secret that plastic surgery is pretty big on the West Coast (Silicon Valley, do I need to say more?). Those, however, don’t always work out the way we’re used to; they don’t always make you prettier for the public eye. My Top 3 revolves around 3 very special personalities, who went great lengths to look like they look today. Beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder.

Erik Sprague aka. „The Lizardman“

The Lizardman began his very own transformation into a lizard at the age of 21. He was strongly inspired by the TV show V in which a group of lizards were impressively presented. He added scales to his body by tattooing his skin, had implants put into his forehead as well as numerous piercings to enhance his look. In 1997 he decided to split his tongue with the aid of a doctor and a laser gun. And whilst being at it, he sharpened his teeth to appear more lizard-like. It is told that he spent 700 hours and 250000 Dollar for this body modification.

Amanda Lepore

The transsexual icon had her very first plastic surgery at the age of 15, a Rhinoplasty. This one was followed by 3 breast enhancements, lifts, silicon injections into her behind, forehead and hips. She even let the doctors break one of her rib bones to create a thinner waist. Her most obvious trademark is her lips. After numerous Botox sittings she even underwent a lip reduction because they were so big.

Dennis Avner aka „Stalking Cat“

The US body artist transformed himself into his own totem, a tiger, with the aid of a huge amount of body modifications. He spent about 100.000 Dollar to achieve this look you see above. His money went into sharpened teeth and ears, whiskers and implants to modify the form of his eyebrows and forehead. Not to say the least about his tattoos and piercings all over his body. He even spent his life like a tiger, eating raw meat on a daily basis. Talking about going the extra mile, huh? Unfortunately, Dennis Avner died in 2012.

There are a lot of body artists out there, who dedicated their lives to transforming their body to the extreme. What do you guys think about that?

Yours truly,
