You can almost guess that Each x Other is a slightly different brand if you look at the two founders. Designer Ilan Delouis and art director Jenny Mannerheim have founded a label that is just on the edge between art and fashion. Their designs are often inspired by both art and literature. You can see that fact in the introduction of each collection as it is always introduced by a quote like: “We Are All One” or “Here Comes Everybody”, which creates a certain depth to the collection.
The Pre Sping & Summer collection was inspired by a more androgynous style. You see, although it is a women’s collection, it can be worn by men as well. In that canny way Each x Other created a beautiful connection between the sexes similar to the connection between art and fashion.
The designs that were created that way show a sophisticated side as well as a more casual side. Jeans materials were used to really make it really suitable for every day. You can sometimes catch hints of stripes in form of patchwork or as a print.
Each x Other show a very young side of them in the Pre Spring & Summer collection. For instance you wouldn’t expect a t-shirt on which “Show Boobs No Bombs” is printed, would you?
