After my more than enthusiastic insight into the Spring & Summer Collection 2014 by New York label Houghton, I just had to keep you up to date. And I can already promise that the autumn and winter collection 2014-15 is a fashion masterpiece. The predominant colors of the collection are black, gray and white, ringing in the colder winter days in a very impressive manner.
The silhouettes and cuts are casual, comfortable and also have a dandy touch giving the looks incredible sophistication. There are many two-piece combinations consisting of trousers, blouses and jackets for the autumn and winter season. One of the absolute eye catchers is the combination of some white, flowing pants with the matching blouse. The ensemble is reminiscent of a modern interpretation of the kimono.
But my absolute favorite is definitely the gray suit consisting of trousers, blazers and trench coat, combined with a black transparent blouse. This look reminds me of a Highlander due to the extensive trench coats that turns the rather staid suit into a very casual and sophisticated look. All in all, there are many innovative ideas and cuts in the collection. The label Houghton definitely has one fan more now!
