The guys and gals who regularly read my posts already know what a cryptocurrency is. Cryptocurrencies are electronic and anonymously usable currencies.
The ones of you who are now interested in finding out more about can read my explanation particularly dealing with the “DogeCoin right here.

As an exception, I’m not going to be talking about how I and my beloved DogeCoin are on our way to the stock market moon. It’s about the nifty hacker group “Skidrow” and the Bitcoin.

In order to acquire any cryptocurrency you either have to buy it with money or use computer software to “mine” them. In order to mine only one bitcoin with a normal computer, you’ll need multiple months!

Now if you start calculating your expenses for the internet and the electricity in order to get one single Bitcoin, you’ll realize you won’t make any money mining without a special mining system. And so the hackers at Skidrow came up with an idea: Let’s buy Watchdogs, let’s hack it so people can download it online and play it and let’s add a “Virus”.

With this virus, your computers will always mine Bitcoins for Skidrow when they’re on! So while you’re playing your pirated copy of Watchdogs, your computer is working at 100% in order to make Skidrow rich.

And that’s just one of the many reasons why you shouldn’t be pirating games…
