“Remember the time when I told you about my nightmares… well, they got worse. In my dreams, I get chased.”

Production: Max Erlenwein
Regie: Max Erlenwein
Erik: Jürgen Vogel
Julia: Petra Schmidt-Schaller
Henry: Moritz Bleibtreu

German director Max Erlenwein dares to step his foot onto something that earns you true respect and is seen as quite challenging in Germany: Genre Cinema!

Having Jürgen Vogel and Moritz Bleibtreu starring in their first movie together is really something to talk about. The movie, however, appears dark and dangerous. The main character Erik keeps seeing a stooped man in a hoodie, who seems to chase after him. After a while it becomes clear that only he can see and hear him. The interchanging of the scenes can be clearly divided into days and nights. During the night we witness vicious clashes between two rivals. During the day we get to see loving father-daughter-moments or couples, which totally stands in contrast to the previous dark scenes.

After sitting through the whole movie, one thing becomes very clear: Stereo is hard and rough. It is inspired by American Action movies but still manages to keep a German touch to it. It aired on May 15 and can be seen right now!
