The local label Mae Pang named after the eponymous designer returns to the Fashion Festival Singapore this May. The playful label was founded in the year 2009 and has offered cheeky interplays made of amazing materials, prints and exciting colors since then. The style attracts you with its clear structures and impressive and surprising design effects, which lead to an urban style which contemporary fashion trends.
In summer 2014, Mae Pang combines dinosaur prints with metallic glamour. The straight lines and expressive structures of skirts, boxy jackets and flowing t-shirts therefore receive a completely new and very distinctive character. Keeping the usual feminine style, the designer plays with the sensuality of the wearer and underlines it with transparent elements, bustiers and tight-fitting cuts.
The female designer shows a modern interpretation of classic cuts made of dresses or skirts and blouse combinations. Circle skirts and pleated skirts, balloon skirts and miniskirts in extreme color nuances like silver and red are worn with straight-cut sweaters or with delicate blouses. The colors black, white, dark blue and luscious red determine the seasonal collection.
